Sheltered, Suppressed, and Silenced.
Princess Adelaide Voz'hana Wysteria has lived her entire life sequestered in the Imperial Palace of Wyster. Never allowed to explore, never allowed to leave the safety of the Palace, and never able to experience life due to her paranoid mother, Empress Vivian Fyhana Wysteria.
However Adelaide just had her twenty-first birthday, coming of age in the Wysterian Empire. Tradition dictates that every citizen of age must serve in the military forces for three years. Adelaide sees this as her chance to finally see the Realm and its people before taking her mantle as Empress.
However a dark plot, decades in the making, causes Adelaide to truly examine who she is and where she comes from.
We can learn so much from the forests of the Material Realm.
The Heartwood is no different.
This primordial forest boasts many legends, but none of them can compare to the story of love between two star-crossed lovers: Eluwae, a daughter of powerful Fae and Alexander, a mortal blacksmith.
Their lives are irrevocably changed as fate draws them together from their separate and sheltered realms.
Day Nine:
I cannot express how lucky I am to have found Cedrine and Thanmur, especially for this latest step in our trek to the isle of Ska'Tret. Gnolls, gnolls as far as the eye can see. They had hidden themselves in the rainy hills outside of the township of Vivian and we were lucky enough to send them packing with their tails tucked between their legs.
I have a bad feeling that's looming over me. I don't know how to explain it, but it's there. I just hope that there aren't any more unexpected delays in our trek. We finally have enough silver to keep us going for a while, but we will have to get dangerously close to the frontlines. Although, I did hear some gossip among the patrons of the inn we are staying at. The Pale King is withdrawing his troops to bolster support in Eastbank. What could that be about?

Hi there!
Welcome to the World of Odelum! This blog will mainly be about the fantasy books I am writing based on my DnD world, Odelum! I wanted to have a one stop shop where I could drop information about the world and also have a place for my players to reference for the upcoming DnD campaign I will be running!
At this point, I should probably introduce myself! My name is Gabe, a Broadcast and Electronic Communications major at SFSU. I am extremely interested in the fantasy genre of writing/film! I would love to work more and more with that medium of both film and writing. At this point it's pretty clichéd to say "I've been writing stories since I was a child." However, I didn't just write them. I roleplayed them when I was younger. On the elementary school playground, my best friends and I would run around pretending to be Pokémon that we would make up or that already existed with our own storylines. With that beginning, it was a no brainer that I would turn to the TTRPG community (especially Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition).
I began playing DnD in the early spring of 2018, then started planning and created my first world/campaign in the summer of 2018, and I have not looked back since.
Anyways, thanks for reading this bio! Please look forward to the updates of the Odelum setting!
